Direct Democracy Comment

£75 M Coalition police election farce

With a national turnout of approx. 20%, the Coalition has just wasted £75 M on their latest 'democracy' gimmick! Add this to the £250 M cost of the AV referendum in 2011, that's £325 M of tax payer's cash blown on nothing! If this latest joke had been administered on-line, the cost could have been substantially reduced [to approx. £10 M] again, demonstrating the coalition's absolute complacency towards technology, the UK economy, the UK electorate, and direct democracy.

Voting for direct democracy now will save millions even before we start using it!

Voting for direct democracy outside a general election

Direct Democracy - Audio

It is up to us, the people [not the politicians] to use the power that we have always had, to choose to implement direct democracy as soon as possible.

This is not a protest campaign.

In accordance with Magna Carta Article 61 and with UN UDHR Article 21 and with all of the democratic principals up-held by the UN [which the UK has signed-up to], the people already have the lawful right to reform to direct democracy - even outside a general election.
