Direct Democracy Comment

Cameron, Sharia and a nation of sex abusers

During the Egyptian revolution of 2010, we stated our views about the dangers of Western support being given to any regime in Egypt [and other Arabic states] before elections were held. We stated that supporting unelected regimes or 'councils' was dangerous and was likely to lead to the proliferation of Sharia law imposed upon people against their will.

The Egyptians eventually voted for the Muslim Brotherhood to form a government but, the elections were marred in corruption and violence because the previously Western-backed hardliners that held-up the previous dictatorship of Mubarak were not removed and they then went on to support the Muslim Brotherhood.

It is these hardliners [from the Mubarak era] that David Cameron sold weapons and support to before any elections were even discussed in Egypt. David Cameron was the first Western 'leader' to visit Egypt [21st Feb. 2011] after the revolution and instead of taking diplomats that could have supported a peaceful transition to a democratic government, he took ONLY arms dealers!

According to the BBC [13th Jan. 2012], UK-made CS Gas was used on protesters by Egypt in November 2011 - after David Cameron's visit!

In Egypt today, the government is a hardline Conservative Islamic movement and Sharia is the law. Women are now being targeted and sexual abuse is the weapon of choice of both the Islamic government and their supporters and, Islam is being quoted by abusers as being the 'justification' for the attacks.

Women are being attacked in public by mass gangs [sometimes of up to 300 men at a time] and even the police are blaming the victims, stating that they deserve it for not conforming to the strict Sharia dress codes.

The 'men' who commit these crimes say; "The women make us do it because of how they dress." which is the typical excuse used the world-over by women-beaters, rapists and those who refuse to take responsibility for their own actions.

They also say that women who do not wear the vale are acting against Islam and therefore are also targets - despite the Qur'an never mentioning that women should wear a vale or be fully covered and as usual, the self-righteous who judge others in the name of religion don't even follow their own book.

In the UK, there are already 8 Sharia courts in operation - despite the Qur'an stating to Muslims to respect the laws of other cultures and never to impose their own laws:

Through David Cameron's eager support of a new Islamic dictatorship, he has betrayed and made vulnerable every woman in Egypt. This mass abuse of Egyptian women [which is now socially acceptable in Egypt and supported by the police] could not have happened without the current regime getting the support that it has had from the West.

Voting for direct democracy now is the only way for us to rid UK law of all religious law and to take complete responsibility for ALL UK foreign policy [currently in the hands of the US], and therefore for how we affect others around the world.

Voting for direct democracy outside a general election

Direct Democracy - Audio

It is up to us, the people [not the politicians] to use the power that we have always had, to choose to implement direct democracy as soon as possible.

This is not a protest campaign.

In accordance with Magna Carta Article 61 and with UN UDHR Article 21 and with all democratic principals up-held by the UN [which the UK is signed-up to], the People's Administration's Direct Democracy Twitter blog is a UN-sanctioned and legally recognised voting format for UK reform to direct democracy - even outside a general election.

Vote legitimately for a peaceful and structured UK reform to direct democracy now simply by following the People's Administration's Direct Democracy Twitter blog and when numbers reach a point of critical mass, we'll do the rest.

Follow: @self_rule

The People's Administration's constitution for reform to direct democracy and our voting protocols for implementing direct democracy have both been accepted by the UK Electoral Commission and the UN as legitimate. In a general election, the People's Administration DOES NOT have to field candidates to secure your vote on the ballot paper. Outside a general election, you can vote for a legitimate reform to direct democracy now by following @self_rule
